A Note on the Dynamics of Incentive Contracts

Laffont and Tirole [3] show that when the uncertainty about the agent's ability is small, the equilibrium must involve a large amount of pooling, but it is not necessary to be a partition equilibrium. They construct a nonpartition continuation equilibrium for a given first-period menu of contracts and conjecture that this continuation equilibrium need not be suboptimal for the whole game under small uncertainty. We show that, irrespective of the amount of uncertainty, this nonpartition continuation equilibrium generates a smaller payoff for the principal than a different menu of contracts with a partition continuation equilibrium. In this sense, Laffont and Tirole's menu of contracts, giving rise to a nonpartition continuation equilibrium, is not optimal. An intuition behind this result is provided that may shed some light on the problem of dynamic contracting without commitment.Incentive Contracts; Dynamic Contracting; Commitment; Partition Equilibrium; Ratchet Effect; Bunching

This thesis deals with implementation of a simulator of neural networks in FPNN. In the thesis is analyzed the functioning of neural networks, implementation in hardware and FPNN. There is analyzed design implementation and the actual implementation of the simulator using multiple threads.

Shifting Scales | Renaissance of a Park System | Parks Comprehensive Planner, Urban Designer & Project Manager, 2011-2014 With a population of 42,000, Burlington Vermont’s system of parks, trails, and open/recreation spaces serve myriad roles for the city: social, recreational, economical, and ecological. The system is comprised of 37 parks on 520 acres. Master Plan A comprehensive, community-driven park system plan focused on 7 system themes: People, Wellness, Connection, Stewardship, Community, Service, & Impact. The plan was done in conjunction with department rebranding and wayfinding design. BTV Bike Path The rehabilitation of an 8-mile multi-use path that runs along the Lake Champlain waterfront. The path is the spine of Burlington’s sustainable transportation network. Pause place Through the BTV Bike Path rehab, three prototypes (rest stops, information stops & mini parks) were formalized to increase engagement along the waterfront & connect the community to adjacent amenities. O.N.E. Parklet Prompted by a community request to explore traffic calming, the permanent street closure set the stage to reclaim recreation space in the City’s Old North End. The installation features a street mural, plantings, boulders, movable furniture, and sometimes dancing.https://openscholarship.wustl.edu/wia_profiles/1029/thumbnail.jp

    Hansen Elementary School Counseling

Last semester I had the opportunity to work closely with Jen Alexander, a school counselor at Hansen Elementary School. As a school counselor, Jen helps kids develop social skills, improve their learning, understand their emotions, and much more in order to help them thrive while they are in school. My poster discusses all the things I learned from interning at Hansen. It also goes into detail about what school counselors do, the best parts about being there, and research on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they can affect kids
